Redneck Roadside Tech did not begin with investors, a fleet of trucks, or a corporate office. Al Metcalf Jr. started with a $2 gas can, a handful of tools, a willingness to work, and a belief that stranded drivers deserved better.
In less than a year and a half, Al built Redneck Roadside Tech from the ground up while personally answering calls, working roadside jobs, creating the company's service systems, developing its websites, publishing its information, improving its technology, and handling the work behind the scenes.
What began with basic roadside equipment has grown into a complete roadside service and information center built around what drivers actually need.

Redneck Pull-Up Tire Service is our budget-friendly, appointment-only tire mounting option at 2219 Park Avenue in Norwood, Ohio. Why pay for us to come to you if you can come to us and save? You supply the tire — new or used, bought online or from a tire retailer — and we mount it for $25 per tire, or mount and computer balance it for $39 per tire. Four tires mounted is $100 cash, mounted and balanced is $139 cash. Light truck (LT) tires are $50 per tire to mount, plus $20 per tire to balance. All Pull-Up services are cash only. Call ahead is required; when you arrive, call the number we give you and we come outside to do the work.

Do you come to me?
Always. Redneck Roadside Tech is a mobile tire and roadside assistance company. We bring a fully stocked tire van to your vehicle — highway shoulder, apartment lot, driveway or work lot — across Greater Cincinnati, Clermont County and Northern Kentucky.
I have a flat and no spare. Can you help?
Yes. That is one of our most common calls. If the tire can be repaired we plug or patch it on site. If it can't, we can install a road-tested used tire when one is available in your size, or source a new tire through our New Tire Concierge™ service during retailer hours.
How fast can you get to me in Cincinnati?
Typical arrival is 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic, weather and location. Interstate calls on I-71, I-75 and I-275 are prioritized because waiting on a highway shoulder is dangerous.
How much does it cost?
Roadside assistance starts at $59 during the day and $99 after 7:00 PM, priced by distance. Fuel delivery starts at $49 for two gallons plus $8 per extra gallon. Used tire replacement service fee starts at $159 for 15–18 inch rim, 55-series or above (mounting and disposal included), plus the cost of the used tire during the day. Do you tow vehicles?
No. We do not tow and we do not perform winch-outs. We fix the problem where the vehicle sits whenever it can be fixed roadside.
Can you work on the highway?
Yes. We run cones, amber strobes and high-visibility gear for shoulder work on every interstate in the region. Stay inside your vehicle with your seatbelt fastened until we arrive.

What information should I have ready when I call?
Your location (nearest cross street, exit number or mile marker), the year, make and model of the vehicle, the tire size off the sidewall if it's a tire call, and whether the vehicle is in a safe spot. That's usually enough for us to quote a firm price on the first call.
