A Scared Mom, A Two-Year-Old, And A 2:00 AM Blowout

WHAT WE SEE
Student Roadside Care Program
$39 INSIDE CINCINNATI CITY LIMITS
High school or college · Any age · Valid student ID. One qualifying standard roadside service — jump start, lockout, spare tire installation, or fuel delivery with up to 2 gallons included. No membership, no app, no signup.
Outside Cincinnati city limits: $10–$20 more based on the vehicle's location — normally $49–$59 total, given before dispatch.
After hours (7:00 PM – 6:59 AM): $79 inside Cincinnati city limits · $89 outside.
A valid current student ID, shown to the technician on scene. You don't have to live in Cincinnati — the vehicle's location decides the rate.
Who we run this for
Jump starts, lockouts, flat changes onto your spare, and fuel delivery with up to 2 gallons — 24/7, wherever the car sits.
Why we're different
Most roadside outfits bolt on your spare and leave. We bring the tire shop to the vehicle — real mounting and computer balancing equipment, tire stock on the van, and a tech who knows what he's looking at. Driveway, parking lot or interstate shoulder.
WE BRING THE TIRE SHOP TO THE VEHICLE.
We are Cincinnati's tire guys
New tires, used tires, mounting, balancing, plugs, patches and full replacement — done in your driveway, your work lot or on the shoulder of the highway.
We roll to you with the tire, the jack and the torque wrench. No tow, no shop, no waiting room.
Solid, road-tested used tires mounted on site when a new set isn't in the budget today.
Fresh rubber sourced for your size and delivered to your driveway, lot or shoulder.
Full install done right: torque to spec, valve checked, pressure set before we leave.
On-site mounting off the van. Your wheels never leave your sight.
Computer-balanced on site for a smoother ride. We balance the wheel where your vehicle sits before getting you back on the road.
If it can be saved, we save it. If it can't, we tell you straight.
Fast, clean plug repair for punctures in the tread — back rolling in minutes.
Dead battery, lockout, empty tank or a tire that gave out at the worst possible hour — one number, any hour, anywhere we run.
Keys on the seat, engine running, kid in the back — we get the door open.
Real jump packs, real cables, no sketchy nose-to-nose in a parking lot.
Gas or diesel brought to you so you're not walking down the berm with a can.
Boost, test and an honest answer on whether that battery gets you home.
24/7 dispatch across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
Potholes, debris, curb strikes. We assess the damage and get you rolling.
We do not offer towing or winch-out service. If it can be fixed roadside, we fix it.

Third-party credential
Redneck Roadside Tech is proud to be a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business. For us, accreditation is another reflection of what we've built this company around: honest communication, transparent service, showing up when we say we will, and treating customers the right way.
Roadside Stories with Redneck & Bone
True stories from real calls — a 2 AM blowout on I-75, a locking lug that nearly won, a party bus saved on a Saturday. Identifying details removed for privacy.
Helping Families
An out-of-state mom blew a tire on I-75 at 2:00 AM with her toddler in the back seat. We stayed on the line, found a quality used tire, and got them rolling again.
Big Al's Helping Hands
An elderly couple was stranded outside our normal service area with a missing locking lug key. We drove out anyway and didn't charge for the extra work.
Commercial Vehicles
A local party bus company called on a Saturday morning with a thrown serpentine belt and a 40th birthday booked for that afternoon. It rolled out on time.
Built from the road up
Redneck Roadside Tech did not begin with investors, a fleet of trucks, or a corporate office. Al Metcalf Jr. started with a $2 gas can, a handful of tools, a willingness to work, and a belief that stranded drivers deserved better.
In less than a year and a half, Al built Redneck Roadside Tech from the ground up while personally answering calls, working roadside jobs, creating the company's service systems, developing its websites, publishing its information, improving its technology, and handling the work behind the scenes.
What began with basic roadside equipment has grown into a complete roadside service and information center built around what drivers actually need.
Today, Redneck Roadside Tech provides many of the capabilities customers expect from large national roadside companies: direct access to roadside help, mobile tire service, useful service information, realistic arrival expectations, customer communication, GPS-powered tools, safety resources, and clear explanations of available options.
Cincinnati community
Proud Cincinnati community supporter and advertiser on Cincinnati Bengals & UC Bearcats schedules. Our ad runs in the printed 2026 game-day schedules that fans carry all season long.
Redneck Roadside Tech is an independent, locally owned company and a paid advertiser in the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Bearcats game-day schedules. We are not sponsored by, endorsed by, partnered with or affiliated with the Cincinnati Bengals, the NFL, the University of Cincinnati or the UC Bearcats.
Every service has its own page with real answers: what it costs, how long it takes, and what we check before we leave.
Mobile tire replacement means a fully equipped tire van comes to your vehicle and installs a new or used tire on the spot, so you never need a tow or a shop visit. Redneck Roadside Tech provides mobile tire replacement 24 hours a day across Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Clermont County and Northern Kentucky. We source the correct tire size, mount it, balance it, torque the lugs to manufacturer spec and set the pressure before we leave. Most calls are completed in 30 to 60 minutes from arrival, and the price is quoted on the phone before we roll.
Read the details →A flat tire can usually be repaired if the puncture is in the tread area, is smaller than a quarter inch, and the tire was not driven on flat long enough to damage the sidewall. Redneck Roadside Tech repairs flats on site anywhere in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, 24 hours a day, using a plug, an inside patch, or a combination patch-plug depending on the damage. Most flat repairs take 20 to 30 minutes from arrival. Sidewall punctures and shoulder damage cannot be safely repaired and require replacement.
Read the details →Emergency tire service is 24-hour mobile response for blowouts, shredded sidewalls, and flats that leave a vehicle undrivable. Redneck Roadside Tech answers the phone at any hour and dispatches a stocked tire van to your location anywhere in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, including the interstates. We install a spare, repair the damaged tire, or replace it outright on site. Because we're a mobile tire operation and not a tow company, the vehicle usually leaves under its own power.
Read the details →A mobile jump start is a technician coming to your vehicle with a professional lithium jump pack to restart a dead battery, usually in under 10 minutes on site. Redneck Roadside Tech provides jump starts 24 hours a day throughout Cincinnati, Norwood, Clermont County and Northern Kentucky, typically starting at $59 during the day and $99 after 7:00 PM. We also test the battery and charging system afterward and tell you honestly whether the battery is going to strand you again tomorrow morning.
Read the details →Mobile car lockout service is a technician coming to your vehicle and opening the door without damaging the paint, weatherstripping or door latch, typically within minutes of arrival. Redneck Roadside Tech runs lockout calls 24 hours a day throughout Cincinnati, Norwood, Clermont County and Northern Kentucky.
