Redneck Roadside Tech is an independent, locally owned mobile tire and roadside assistance company now operating from The Pit, 7322 Fair Park Alley, Cincinnati, OH 45227. Mobile service comes to you; scheduled pull-up services require calling ahead and prior arrangement. Our company began in Norwood. The owner is a working tire technician — the same person who answers the phone is the person who shows up with the service truck. Our mobile roadside phone is answered 24 hours a day; The Pit requires advance confirmation. We handle thousands of tire, battery, lockout and fuel calls a year across Hamilton County, Clermont County and Northern Kentucky.

Standard qualifying mobile packages include up to five quarts and a qualifying filter. Additional oil is $15 per quart for ALL oil grades, both mobile and at The Pit. Confirm manufacturer-required oil specification, filter requirements, vehicle eligibility and exact quote before scheduling. Other oil grades or specialty vehicle requirements: Call for pricing. Complimentary basic oil-service checks are not a separately bookable comprehensive inspection or diagnostic service.

5W-30 full synthetic, up to 5 quarts: $49 with your compatible filter / $59 with our standard filter. Qualifying 0W/specialty: $69 with your compatible filter / $79 with our standard filter. ALL grades: $15 per additional quart.

New tires: call for pricing by size and vehicle. Used tires: call for pricing by size and availability. Passenger mount $25/tire or $100/four; mount WITH computer balancing $49 total/tire or $196/four. LT mounting $50/tire; balancing $20 additional/tire. Cash-only pull-up service.

Computer balancing is performed ONLY at The Pit. Mobile bead balancing is available on site when appropriate for the tire and vehicle, additional $15 per tire. For mobile computer balancing, we can take the tire/wheel to The Pit and return it for installation, additional $29 per tire. The transport charge does not apply to pull-up customers.

Always call before pulling up to The Pit. We must confirm someone is there, confirm service availability, and give you arrival instructions.

Running vehicles only. No tow-ins or tow-truck drop-offs. Pit availability is scheduled, not 24/7.

FROM A $2 GAS CAN TO A ROADSIDE COMMAND CENTER

Redneck Roadside Tech did not begin with investors, a fleet of trucks, or a corporate office. Al Metcalf Jr. started with a $2 gas can, a handful of tools, a willingness to work, and a belief that stranded drivers deserved better.

In less than a year and a half, Al built Redneck Roadside Tech from the ground up while personally answering calls, working roadside jobs, creating the company's service systems, developing its websites, publishing its information, improving its technology, and handling the work behind the scenes.

What began with basic roadside equipment has grown into a complete roadside service and information center built around what drivers actually need.

Today, Redneck Roadside Tech provides many of the capabilities customers expect from large national roadside companies: direct access to roadside help, mobile tire service, useful service information, realistic arrival expectations, customer communication, GPS-powered tools, safety resources, and clear explanations of available options.

But Redneck Roadside Tech was also built to go further than a traditional dispatch system.

Large national providers commonly operate through call centers, membership rules, standardized scripts, coverage restrictions, predetermined service limits, and layers of corporate approval. As an independent, owner-operated business, Redneck Roadside Tech can evaluate the actual situation, communicate honestly, explain the customer's options, and make practical decisions based on what the stranded driver needs.

Independence does not mean there are no safety, distance, inventory, availability, or service limitations. It means customers receive honest answers directly from someone who understands the work instead of vague promises from a distant call center.

Al has taken what he learned from every service call — what customers ask, what they fear, what information they cannot find, and where traditional roadside systems fall short — and used it to keep improving the business.

Transparent pricing, daytime and after-hours information, service education, GPS-powered communication, Student Roadside Care, and Big Al's Helping Hands were not created in a corporate boardroom. They came from real experience on Cincinnati roads.
