THE SITUATION
A local party bus company called in a panic on a Saturday morning. The owner had a 40th birthday party scheduled that afternoon, and the bus had thrown its serpentine belt.
WHAT HAPPENED
- We inspected the bus on site and found the alternator had failed — that's what took the belt with it.
- The bus had been modified, and the custom belt routing made the job considerably harder than a factory layout.
- Every hour that passed was an hour closer to a cancelled party for dozens of people.
HOW REDNECK ROADSIDE TECH HELPED
- Sourced the replacement parts the same morning.
- Installed the alternator and worked out the custom belt routing on the modified chassis.
- Had the bus back on the road before the celebration started.
THE OUTCOME
One breakdown didn't ruin dozens of people's special day. The party rolled out on schedule.
This was a one-off favor for a commercial customer in a bind. Redneck Roadside Tech advertises and sells mobile tire and roadside services only — we are not a general mechanical repair shop, and we don't tow or winch.
